Great fit first time ever!

I tried on 15 pairs of mail order glasses before finding the best fits at Covry. I'm sure if I had tried on 115 pairs, Covry would still have fit me the best. Even the other well known mail order brand had low bridge fits, they did not work at all. I am OCD and did not want to mess with nose pads again. I adjust them until I just about break them off! Chara and Nash II fit the best but I went with Chara because the style is not something you see everywhere else. I had Lasik done so I do not really need glasses but am at the age that I do need readers. In social settings, readers are such a hassle. I will probably use my readers when I do heavy computer work because I find that I have to hold my head tilted up with progressives. This is why I had such bad luck with progressives in the past, I just couldn't get used to finding the sweet spot to see 20/20 at various distances. I'm doing the "wear 3 days straight" thing to get used to them. But, this time, I decided that I would just suffer it out and resort to also using readers when needed. I was hesitant to mail order Rx lenses, but I'm pleased with my order. The only complaint I have so far is that the photochromic lenses do not go completely clear indoors. The lenses have a very faint gray tint all the time.
