Meet The Artist: Jennifer Le

Meet The Artist: Jennifer Le

May 14, 2026COVRY SUNWEAR, LLC.

Jennifer Le is a Vietnamese American artist, content creator, small business owner, and lifelong glasses enthusiast. For this AAPI Heritage Month lens cloth collaboration with Covry, Jennifer created a playful journal-inspired illustration filled with nostalgic details, personal memories, and everyday moments that feel like home. Her work blends storytelling and sentiment, often drawing from her upbringing and the small rituals that shape her world.

The Story Behind The Illustration

Inspired by my Vietnamese American upbringing and my love for art and journaling, I wanted this lens cloth to feel like a journal spread filled with little moments from my life.

There are small, meaningful details woven throughout like a guest check from a Vietnamese restaurant, a photo strip of a bear wearing Covry glasses, and a love letter with a sweet affirmation.

Some of the details might feel small at first, but they hold a lot of meaning for me. The Vietnamese restaurant guest check reminds me of meals shared with family. The bear wearing Covry glasses adds a playful touch that ties into the collaboration. And the love letter with an affirmation reflects something I always come back to in my work: kindness toward yourself.

On Her Vietnamese American Upbringing

My upbringing has shaped my art in a really emotional and nostalgic way. So much of my work is inspired by family, food, and the feeling of home.

My grandma raised me, and she really taught me that home, nhà, is where the heart is. She always made sure my cousins and I were well fed with our favorite comfort foods, and that sense of care and warmth shows up a lot in my work.

On Her Creative Journey

One thing I’ve learned is that the most meaningful work usually comes from things that feel personal. When I lean into my own memories and experiences, the work feels more honest and naturally connects with others more deeply.

On Choosing Heart of Dinner

This project felt especially meaningful because of my grandma. She has been lucky to be surrounded by family, but I know not every elder has that same experience.

That is why I chose Heart of Dinner as the nonprofit partner. They support Asian American elders facing food insecurity by delivering thoughtful care packages and meals that bring comfort and connection. That mission felt really close to home for me.

On Her Personal Style + Covry Favorites

My personal style right now feels cozy, playful, and effortless. I love mixing simple basics with little details that feel fun and expressive. I also love wearing frames that I can style every day without thinking too much about it. Covry's Adara Amber frame is my favorite!
