THE WEDDING

Names: Sam + Logan Corona
Date & Location: Penny Lane Ranch in Sky Valley, CA
Their Story:
Their story is a story of coincidence. Sam noticed Logan in high school and thought he was cute, so she followed him on Instagram. But he never followed her back. Years later, after a breakup, Sam decided to give dating apps a shot. When she saw Logan on Hinge, she sent him a like—but he didn’t return it.
Then fate stepped in. One evening, Sam spotted Logan at a bar in Dana Point. Time seemed to slow as he walked up to her and said, "You look familiar... How do I know you?" Sam played coy, pretending she had no idea.
What began as a lighthearted friendship soon turned into something deeper. Their first date felt effortless, a night where time vanished as they talked, laughed, and realized they had found something rare.
Logan proposed in the serene beauty of Joshua Tree, and their wedding was a reflection of their love—personal, authentic, and full of meaning. A day that felt as real and beautiful as their love.

THE WEDDING

Most important aspect of wedding planning

"Making sure that we both loved the design and were aligned with all decisions. We tried to keep grounded when making decisions (especially financially), and stayed true to our top 3 priorities: content (media team), guest experience, and our own personal enjoyment."

Personal elements
"It was important to incorporate elements from both of my businesses and showcase my personal style through florals and tabletop design. Being able to express my creativity through the design of our wedding was so much fun and rewarding to see it come to life."

One song that got everyone out of their seats
"Pink Pony Club! It embodied everyone at the wedding and got everyone to sing too!"

THE FASHION

Eclectic and timeless
"I leaned into eclectic, personal styles that felt timeless to me. I wasn’t concerned about what I’d think 30 years from now—I wanted to wear what I loved in the moment. My welcome party dress was from Aston Bridal, wedding dress from Reev Bridal, and reception dress from Wiederhoeft."

Covry's Petra Cloud Sunnies
"I honestly had been wearing those sunnies throughout my wedding weekend, so when I went to change, I grabbed them out of habit. Since I loved how comfortable they were, it was a no-brainer to add it as the accessory for my reception look."

THE REFLECTIONS

"Cool factor"
"Bring the “cool factor” from within vs. trends. You and your partner bringing in an element that is unique and special to you will always be cool."

Wedding day memories
"Getting ready with my girls. Having my mom + mother in law + my bridesmaids all in one place at one time felt surreal. It felt so special to do my own makeup and just chat like it was another day with the closest people in my life. And in that moment, I knew that sharing that morning brought me closer in each of those relationships."

Advice for couples
"It’s so easy to get caught up in the details when planning a wedding. And in reality, once the day is over, a lot of those details don’t matter anymore. The things we prioritized we do not regret spending on and the time we made for each other to enjoy ourselves are the moments that we won’t ever forget. So don’t sweat the small stuff, make time for each other day-of, and remember the day is meant to celebrate you as a couple."
