Artist Inspiration- "This piece is a dream tablescape of favorite snacks and memories that remind me of time spent over the years with family and friends in both the US and Taiwan. Sharing food and playing mahjong have always been my favorite ways to spend time with people I love, whether it’s over the holidays or a Friday evening get-together."

About the Artist- Felicia Liang is an artist and printmaker who works with both commercial and editorial clients, and sells her art online and in-person at craft markets. She is known for colorful artwork celebrating Taiwanese-American identity and culture, supporting local New York and Bay Area Chinatowns and small businesses, and all things food.

About the Foundation- Oakland Bloom’s mission is to advance economic equity in the food industry. It aims to support poor and working-class refugee, immigrant, and BIPOC chefs to launch their own food businesses, and to re-envision and reshape what a healthy and just food service industry could look like.
