Don't underestimate her petite frame. Alice of Brainy Beauty Fit is a full-time badass attorney and the winner of the physique competition with the World Beauty Fitness & Fashion league. With the brains to specialize in litigation, she even volunteers her legal knowledge in her spare time. She’s got the beauty part down having spent years modeling with world-renowned modeling agencies, Ford and Wilhelmina, and let’s not forget her shoe collection that rivals Carrie Bradshaw’s!
She appears effortlessly fabulous, but her brains, beauty and fitness goals haven't have been achieved without hard work and discipline. Her secret? "People think if you 'want is so bad,' it will happen. No, actually it is 'if you choose this pain and endure it long enough, then it will happen,'" she reveals.
Alice is beyond #bodygoals, and the best part is she shares personal workout and nutrition tips on her Instagram. BRB, we're grabbing our shades and heading to the gym.
“My mom gives me great advice. She told me not to take things too personally. Take a step back and put yourself in their shoes.”
What inspired you to start Brainy Beauty Fit?
When I decided to train for my first physique competition with the WBFF league, I thought it would be a good idea to document my fitness journey on my Instagram @BrainyBeautyFit, as a way to motivate myself and others. I wanted to show that you can have a full time professional job and still make time to eat healthy and train vigorously. No excuses here! I started posting about my workouts, meal preps and it took off. I went on to winning my Professional Card with the WBFF league and continue to train and compete in their Professional league. Fitness is a truly rewarding lifestyle if you are willing to love and embrace it. I am humbled that my fitness transformation resonated with others, especially with Asian females. I would love to see more ladies lifting weights, and more Asian representation in the fitness industry overall.

What's next for Brainy Beauty Fit?
I am working on an E-book of workout ideas that is easy to follow for everyone, especially women, who might be intimidated to lift weights in the beginning. I was one of the girls who was afraid to go to the gym and had no idea what to do at first. Also, I am working on a recipe book filled with easy, no fuss healthy cooking tips.
Alice shares her favorite power breakfast recipe:
I love to have my coffee as part of my morning ritual, but it is also important to have a nutritional breakfast. Unfortunately, I often don't have the time to prepare a protein filled power breakfast + indulge my caffeine fix at the same time, so here is a quick way to marry the two in less than 1 minute!
PROTEIN COFFEE LATTE
1 scoop of whey protein isolate. I use chocolate flavored, but you can use any!
1/2 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of black coffee
2 ice cubes
1/2 medium sized banana. The banana can be room temperature or frozen.
Put all ingredients into a blender. Blend for 10 seconds and enjoy!
Serving size for 1 person.
