Each person has unique facial features, so frames will look different on everyone. We’ve put together a guide below if you need a little help finding the perfect pair.
The first step in finding the right frames is to determine your face shape. You can estimate width and length by measuring the span with your fingers or outlining the edge of your face. Try to determine if your features are more angular or round. If you want to be extra sure, you can always ask anyone working at an optical or makeup store.
Once you’ve determined your face shape, you can easily find the styles below that compliment you the best! Keep in mind that proportion is key. Smaller faces look best in smaller frames and larger faces look better in larger frames. Face shape, however, isn’t the only way to shop for eyewear. Sometimes the perfect pair is just a style that makes us feel fantastic! We encourage everyone to find the pair they love regardless of what our guide suggest.
Rounded frames will balance and soften your features. Look for circular lenses or thinner frames
Proportional frames work best, so try not to go too big or too small for your face. Most styles work well, so try out a variety of shapes and mix it up!
Bold angles and geometric shapes will balance the roundness and lengthen the face. Try a rectangle shape or frames with angular lines.
Oversized frames or any style that is wider on top and narrower on the bottom will balance out your face.
